What to expect when booking an appointment with me
Initial Consultation
I offer a free 15-minute telephone call to give you the chance to ask any questions and ensure we're a good fit before booking a full session. It’s an opportunity for us to briefly connect, and for you to share your initial thoughts and concerns.

Following that, our 50-minute initial consultation provides a space for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and reasons for seeking therapy. It’s a chance to explore what’s on your mind and consider what you hope to gain from the process.

My focus is on understanding your concerns and creating a supportive, respectful environment where you feel heard. I’ll offer initial insights and suggest a therapeutic approach tailored to your needs and goals.

This session is a conversation, not a one-sided process. You’re encouraged to ask questions, share any concerns, and actively shape the direction of your journey.

There’s no obligation to continue after this. It’s simply an opportunity to explore whether therapy feels right for you and whether I’m the right therapist to support you.
Follow-Up Appointments
Each 50-minute session is a space for reflection, exploration, and growth.
Together, we set the focus - starting with understanding your challenges and gradually moving toward practical steps, whether that’s developing coping strategies, exploring new perspectives, or making meaningful changes.

Session frequency is flexible and decided together, typically beginning weekly and adjusting to fortnightly as you feel ready.
